<image:caption>My dad always said, “You have a heart for ministry. You should think about being a missionary.” But it took six jobs and three moves for me to admit that maybe he was on to something. So maybe the first thing you need to know about me is that I can be a little stubborn. That third move landed me in a remote village in the Philippines as a homeschool teacher for missionary kids. I fell in love with the Filipino people, but I was shocked at the disparity between the cities and the remote villages. The city had churches, Bibles, believers; people had the option to turn to Jesus for answers if they wanted to. The people in the remote villages wanted those same privileges, opportunities, and choices, but even if they went to the city to get them, it was all in a language they didn’t understand. Suddenly, ministry didn’t seem like such a terrible dad-idea. These people just wanted the opportunity to hear about the story, the truth about God that changed my life forever. How could I say no? So who am I? I’m a lover of people, words, art, and the outdoors. I’m God’s daughter, Arlo’s mom, and Tan’s wife. I have the privilege of being best friends with my siblings and parents. And I’m excited about what God has in store for the future.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Tobias Keene, D.D.S. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. When not striving to keep his patients happy and healthy, he’s enjoys hiking with his family in Rock Creek Park.</image:caption>
